Project ARIF has set up two resource centres within our partner mosques (Masjid As-Syafaah and Masjid An-Nur) to provide a physical space for our couples and families to meet with the team.
Each Resource Centre features two distinct spaces; the play area and the medical/counselling space.
The play area has been specially curated with quality toys to invite young children to learn and explore in a safe and joyful environment. This space is ideal for a small group parenting-education session conducted by the Project ARIF team. Families are invited to bring home books from the shelves and continue the joy of reading together back in the comfort of their own homes.
The medical/counselling space allows couples and families to meet with the Project ARIF team. Health charts, a baby weighing scale, a blood pressure monitor and a rich collection of informational brochures are some of the resources available.
A range of programmes and activities are conducted at both resource centres. Regular sessions include Health’Meet and Breastfeeding Education, where couples are able to meet our clinicians for personalized health advice. Couples can also meet our Medical Social Workers and Naib Kadis for consultation, advice and counselling.
